语境问题是语言哲学的核心问题之一,人们希望能够澄清我们对语句的解释在什么意义上是语境敏感的,并更好地理解说话者的“知识空间”和语境等的语言哲学本质。伴随着语义学在分析哲学界的长盛不衰,这一系列问题至今仍在不断地产生出各种新的、激动人心的研究进展。
同时,我们也需要探讨人类的知识评价和知识归属在什么意义上是语境敏感的,以及如何界定语境和知识评价范式间的关系问题。近十年来,知识论领域也为此产生了大量关于“语境主义” 的讨论:一方面,语境主义对知识的分析或许可以更好地帮助我们解决诸如“彩票问题”、“序言问题” 等悖论性问题,并由此对知识给出一种更好的非怀疑论的解释;另一方面,知识论对语境敏感性的关注还涉及对知识的主体及其责任的界定问题。这里我们需要回答知识责任的归属和界定与知识论中的其它问题(如认知主体的信念、知识的证成等)之间的关系是怎样的,而澄清这一类问题又可以帮助我们更好地理解知识的行动特征(如断言、承诺等)及其社会特征(如证言、信任、权威等)。特别是,如今知识及信息传播已高度社会性和网络化,对上述问题的理论探讨在哲学学界外的更大论域中也有着广泛的借鉴意义。
本次会议一方面聚焦知识的语境主义分析及其语义学、元语义学和语用学问题,另一方面将关注语境知识的价值与规范性,以及社会知识论等领域内的相关问题。针对这些问题,来自6 个国家的15 位代表将报告其最新研究成果。
