《虚云讲座五周年讲演集》首发式暨第39讲
北京大学宗教文化研究院，将于2017年4月21日（周五）上午举办第39讲虚云讲座，同时举办《宗教与人文价值：虚云讲座五周年讲演集》首发式。
本次讲座邀请著名社会学家、哲学家，国际最著名的韦伯研究专家，德国海德堡大学资深教授施鲁赫特先生主讲,从韦伯对早期佛教与耆那教的研究入手,讲解韦伯对黑格尔宗教观的突破。

Wolfgang Schluchter, Professor Emeritus of Socioloy, Heidelberg University (Germany), Born April 4, 1938 in Ludwigsburg (Germany); studies in Sociology, Economics, Political Science and Philosophy at the Universities of Stuttgart, Tübingen, München, Berlin; Diploma and Doctorate in Berlin; second Dissertation (Habilitation) University of Mannheim; Professor of Sociology University of Düsseldorf, then University of Heidelberg; Visiting appointments at the Universities of Singapore, Pittsburgh, New School of Social Research, New York, University of California at Berkeley (several times), Leipzig, Erfurt.
Major publications (selection):
Rationalism of World Domination (also in Chinese); The Rise of Western Rationalism (also in Chinese); Max Weber’s Vision of History (together with Guenther Roth); Rationalism, Religion and Domination; Paradoxes of Modernity; Religion und Lebensführung, 2 vol.; Grundlegungen der Soziologie, 2 vol.; Co-editor of the Max Weber-Gesamtausgabe (Complete Edition of Max Weber’s Works in 46 volumes).
