主讲人简介
Klaus Corcilius
Prof. Klaus Corcilius holds the chair of ancient philosophy at the University of Tübingen, where he is also the philosophy department chair. He is also the editor of Rhizomata: A Journal for Ancient Philosophy and Science. As an expert on ancient philosophy, especially Plato and Aristotle, he has published and edited several books, including a monograph on Aristotle’s theory of animal motion (Streben und Bewegen, 2008), and (as co-editor with Christoph Rapp) the Aristoteles Handbuch (2011). His dozens of articles and book chapters have uncovered new insights about a wide range of topics in Aristotle, such as action theory, imagination and thought, animal motion, the science of life, and practical reasoning.
